Interview with Elijah Butterz
Elijah is a journalist and one half of Butterz, a Grime DJ duo born from a blog that have seen a real surge in interest over the past few months. Showcasing their unique instrumental-based sound across the continent and beyond, they have helped redefine Grime in 2010 by bringing producers to the fore. Working closely with producers such as Terror Danjah, Swindle and Royal-T, their eponymously-named label has gone from strength-to-strength and looks set to steal more limelight in the new year.
We caught up with Elijah to discuss future moves and what bringing Butterz blog to a close means for the scene.
